KITCHEN

Designing a kitchen for a landscape designer in his 50's with a gardening hobby.

This dual identity profoundly influences the kitchen design, demanding a space that's both functional for culinary activities and conducive to indoor gardening.

The kitchen has a vertical indoor farm using aeroponics or hydroponics for year-round herb and vegetable growth, reflecting the client’s love of gardening. It features dual sinks—one dedicated to washing produce for garden-to-table hygiene and another for general tasks. An organic composting bin supports sustainability by turning kitchen waste into compost for the indoor garden. Ample natural light enhances plant growth and creates a welcoming atmosphere
